DESIGN & ANALYSISThe Drake Group Inc. can provide design and analysis of aircraft mechanical systems and equipment. Drake Associates can also provide design services in structures, electrical/ avionics and powerplant. Designs can be manual or electronic IGES format.
DER & DAR SERVICESRobert Honzik of the Drake Group Inc. is a Designated Engineering Representative (DER) for the FAA in the areas of Part 23/25 Mechanical Systems, Equipment and Interiors. In addition, Drake Associates cover a wide range of DER and DAR services covering nearly all FAA disciplines.
CERTIFICATION PLANSPlans for complete certification efforts can be prepared for clients that are considering an aircraft modification or a complete new certification program. Certification plans include Work Breakdown Structures, schedules, manpower and funding requirements. The Drake Group and its associates can also provide constructive comments on existing certification efforts sharing their years of experience with Clients.
FAA COMPLIANCE CHECKLISTSAviation clients can be provided with Certification Compliance Checklists that are a compilation of inputs of several Drake Associates well versed in the world of certification.... Many Drake Associates have over thirty years of aviation experience to share with Clients.
CERTIFICATION SEMINARSFAA certification can be somewhat overwhelming to those new to the subject. The Drake Group recognizes this common situation and offers Clients a one day seminar entitled "AN OVERVIEW OF FAA CERTIFICATION FOR MANAGERS AND ENGINEERS." The seminar gives attendees a valuable roadmap of the FAA certification process in simple terms.
